If you don't have any in your private collection already, you can often find DVDs for sail on Ebay or you can order DVDs from sites such as eurovisioncontest.co.uk

Videos of best bits from previous contests

Youtube is a godsend when it comes to this, but also check out soulseek If you'd like some ideas of classic moments in ESC or information about funny performances, why not head over to escnation.com and ask the messageboarders there?

Why not go all the way and set up a stage in your garden for performances of famous old Eurovision acts?

You could have your own performances of classics such as Bucks Fizz's dress-stripping routine, Brotherhood of Men's leg bending, hip swinging routine, or combine it with your karaoke, and perhaps even vote on them in true-Eurovision style afterwards!

To achieve the full Eurovision experience you must deck the room out in full Eurovision style - shiny, sparkly, glittery, pink: i.e. just generally cheesy! To do this you will need as many of the following items as possible:

Again Ebay or an online poster shop is your best bet.

A shrine to Terry Wogan is a must

Just don't mention the wig!

As many balloons, banners, bunting, fairy lights etc. until you achieve the required 'cheese' level. For this purpose, Partyvision reccommends Partyrama (with absolutely no monetary sponsoring or link, despite the similarities in name), for cheap but quality decorations - personal experience has always been very good.

Naturally the TV must be moved so that it becomes the focal point of the room, with a clear, unobstructed view from every seat in the room, better still get a projector or treat yourself to a new widescreen or plasma tv!
