Costume

If all the guests are kitted out in costume the experience will be intensified. There are many different themes you can use as a dresscode for the party:
• The most obvious choice is to dress as a former Eurovision artist.  Click
this link for ideas on who you and your party-goers could dress up as.
•Guests can dress up in National Dress of the country they are representing (eg. Lederhosen - Germany)
•The easiest option is to dress in the colour of your country's flag
•Everyone comes as Terry Wogan, complete with tweed suits, face masks and Irish accents.
•Facepaints can also be provided for guests to paint their country's flag onto their face during the party, with a prize for the best.

Entertainment

As the show is only 3 hours long you will need activities to keep you entertained throughout the night.

Things to have are:

•Eurovision music (Check this link)
•Eurovision Karaoke (
our guide)
•Eurovision quiz with prizes
•Videos of past contests
•Videos of best bits from
previous contests

•Or even go all the way and set up a stage in your garden for performances of famous old Eurovision acts (why not recreate the skirt-stripping routine from Bucks Fizz classic 'Making Your Mind Up'?)

Decoration

To achieve the full Eurovision experience you must deck the room out in full Eurovision style - cheesy. To do this you will need as many of the following items as possible:

•European Flags
•Large European Map
•Posters of famous Eurovision artists
•A shrine to Terry Wogan is a must

•As many balloons, banners, bunting, fairy lights etc. until you achieve the required 'cheese' level

The TV must be moved so that it becomes the focal point of the room, with a clear, unobstructed view from every seat in the room.
